Allergy season is upon us!

Did you know our pets can suffer from allergies just like us? The most common allergens for pets are foods like chicken, beef, dairy, wheat and eggs, but a lot suffer from environmental allergies as well. If your pet struggles with persistent or recurring itchiness, redness, watery eyes, sneezing and hairloss, they could be suffering from allergies!

The Doctor’s Recommendation

Is your pet chronically itchy, red and suffering from skin infections? It might be time to test for allergies! We do our allergy testing through Nelco Allergy Labratories where they test for everything from foods, to household and environmental allergies that your pet may be sensitive to. Once testing is complete, Nelco returns a comprehensive list of all the things your pet should avoid as well as a list of recommended diets that are best for your fur baby. If you think your pet may benefit from allergy testing or have any questions, please call us today!

Supporting Our Community

We are a proud sponsor of the Third Annual Help A Hound Charity Golf Scramble this Saturday May, 5 at Royal Saint Augustine Golf and Country Club. 100% of proceeds benefit the Swamp Haven Rescue!

We also proudly support our local schools, the Fighting Turtles Swim Team and The Villages Baseball association!

Help us in welcoming our new doctor!

We are so excited to welcome Dr. Zachery Drilingas to our team! Dr. Drilingas grew up as an Eagle Scout and science enthusiast (he got to meet and have dinner with Bill Nye the Science Guy when he was young!) and loves all things nature.. Except snakes! He is a graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and is so excited to be relocating to Sunny Saint Augustine. We can’t wait for you to meet him!
